Christopher Sonnie

  • Christopher Sonnie (he/him) is an accomplished actor based in New York and Boston. He honed his craft at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York City, where he was awarded The Chandra Wilson Scholarship. Under the tutelage of esteemed directors Lola Cohen, Geoffrey Horne, and George Loros, Christopher developed a deep appreciation and skill for method acting.

    Christopher’s recent work includes a standout performance as Laertes in a 2023 off-off Broadway production of Hamlet. Outside of acting, he channels his creativity into scriptwriting, delves into the depths of philosophy, and enjoys surfing at the beach.


Samantha Chu

  • Sam (she/they) is an Asian-American, NYC-based actor, singer, musician, and creator. She is motivated by her fascination and desire for deep, human connection and the power of connection with one another in unprecedented times. They graduated from NYU Tisch ('24), where they divided their studies between the Experimental Theatre Wing and the Lee Strasberg Institute. Currently, Sam is belting her heart out four times a week as Lucy Morals in "Speakeasy, Die Softly", housed in Times Square's Carmine's. She is thrilled to be a part of TLTC and to continue her effort to better the world around her.


  • Azudi Onyejekwe is a Brooklyn-based actor, director, educator, advocate, and first-generation Igbo-American. He has performed on Broadway in The Great Comet and Violet and worked regionally at esteemed venues like The Guthrie Theater, Williamstown Theatre Festival, and American Repertory Theater.

    As a director, Azudi has developed new works at 54 Below, The Lee Strasberg Institute, and The Kumble Theater, among others. As an educator, he currently teaches at LIU-Brooklyn and The New Group Acting Studio, having previously taught at NYU Tisch and Molloy University.

    A proud member of Actors’ Equity Association and associate member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, Azudi is also a justice advocate, with his writing featured in The Theatre Times and The Korean Theatre Journal. He holds a BFA from NYU Tisch and is pursuing a Master’s in Education Entrepreneurship at the University of Pennsylvania.

Azudi Onyejekwe


  • Zevity (she/her) is a proud Latina from Texas who is a producer, theatre artist, and theatre administrator. She is passionate about uplifting new works from voices that have been silenced, unheard, or underrepresented and wants to bring them to the forefront of the theater industry. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater Arts with a minor in Business Management from Molloy University/CAP 21 (NYC). Following graduation, she has worked as a theater administrator for the Madison Theater (NY), Watertower Theater (TX), Dallas Theater Center (TX), Latiné Musical Theatre Lab (NYC), Kitchen Sink Theatre Company (NYC) and was the Assistant Producer for His Story: The Musical. She is excited to work at TLTC to support its mission!

Zevity Lopez


  • Ava Jones is a Chicago-born and NYC-based artist that deeply values the art of creation and the opportunity to collaborate. She sings, writes, dances, acts, rhymes, choreographs, and will delve into any outlet that allows for inner expression to manifest outwards. She has been devising theatre since high school and finds a special magic in creating theatre from the ground upwards. She is deeply honored to be a CORE member of The Liminal Theatre Collective and can only imagine the best for what the future holds.

Ava Jones


  • Olivia Leung (she/her) is an NYC-based actor, singer, dancer, and activist. She wishes to tell stories that allow people to think about real world circumstances, and stretch the bounds of inclusivity to help define their point of view on the world. She is a recent graduate of Molloy University/CAP21, holding a BFA in Theatre Arts. In addition to being a working actor, Olivia has also produced multiple new works and cabaret shows around New York. She is thrilled to be on the TLTC team!

  • Rocío Pérez (she/they) is a Salvadoran-American dramaturg, theatre artist, and educator based in New York City. As a theatre artist, they are guided by work grounded in justice, community, and the belief that we all must care for one another. Rocío holds a BFA in Theatre Education and Performance from Emerson College with a minor in Sociology. She has worked with Williamstown Theatre Festival, First Kiss Theatre Company and Latiné Musical Theatre Lab. Currently, they work with People’s Theatre Project, Theatre Advocacy Project and with New York City Public Schools.

  • Sivan Maya (she/her) is a Swedish-American actress trained under the esteemed George Loros at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. She has portrayed diverse roles, including those by Edward Allen Baker and Loy A. Webb. Recently, she participated in an Adidas campaign and delivered a compelling performance in “Reclamation,” directed by Azudi Onyejekwe at The Irma Sandrey Theatre. In addition to acting, Sivan is a passionate writer and producer, creating her own short films and pilot scripts. She aims to expand her presence in both Swedish and U.S. theatre, as well as in film and television.

  • Alex (he/him) is a Houston-born, Mexican-American actor currently based in Brooklyn, NY. He is beyond excited to be a C.O.R.E. member of TLTC, and believes that theatre is at its best when every audience member can see themselves and their cultural, familial stories on stage. Favorite acting credits include Usnavi in In The Heights, Captain Phoebus in the Hunchback of Notre Dame, and being a swing in Into the Woods.

Alex Ramirez Cannon


  • Leah Mijalski-Fahim (she/her) is a passionate actress, writer, and director, who aspires to captivate audiences with compelling narratives. Being a first-generation American: her mother from France, and her father from Egypt, Leah strives to produce stories not commonly told on stage. These stories reside in her plays: Hayati and Face Value. Leah advocates for an accurate and comprehensive sexual education curriculum in grade school, recognizing the importance of informed and empowered youth. She believes in the need for immense reformation in bringing justice to sexual violence survivors. Leah intends to spread awareness to ensure a safe and just future for all.

  • Dante Lee Billups is currently a Junior at NYU Tisch studying drama at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. He is a big gamer, and his favorite movies include Tron Legacy, V for Vendetta, and The Incredibles. He's been involved in Picture Day, directed by Levon Hawke, Langston Used, directed by Omar Winkler, and Reclamation, directed by Azudi Onyejekwe. Acting is his passion, and he feels most alive when on the stage. He is ecstatic to be joining the TLTC team.

Dante Billups


  • Vance Beamer Washington (he/him) is a Virginia-born, New York City-based actor and creative. Growing up, he developed his passions, dedication, and work ethic through sports, from basketball to gymnastics. But something was missing. Luckily, his father, Charles, encouraged him to take an introductory acting class in college, which changed his life. Over the last ten years, Vance has developed skills in acting, filmmaking, writing, fashion design, and music. Vance is currently studying the Meisner technique in a two-year program at the Maggie Flanigan Studio.
